Founded In 1974

About 39 years past, a group of spirited youth of village Alinan and Saira of undivided Medinipur took an oath for doing something good for the men in the path shown by the revolutionary monk "Swami Vivekananda" and his master "Sri Sri Ramakrishna" along his Guru Maa"Sarada Devi", keeping in mind the historical words "To serve men is to serve God". On the 31st May 1974 the youth took an unanimous decision for forming a platform of social service called as " Alinan Ramakrishna Vivekananda Yuva Sangha". It was an another learning of Swami Vivekananda for doing anything, a solid platform is must and anything should be done with a sound unity under proper planning keeping a particular goal in mind.

Alinan Ramakrishna Vivekananda Yuva Sangha has been working in India for over 39 years, focusing on alleviating poverty and social exclusion. We do this through well-planned and comprehensive programmes in health, education, livelihoods and disaster preparedness and response. We also focus on generating and sharing knowledge with diverse stakeholders to influence sustainable impact at scale. Our overall goal is the empowerment of women and girls from poor and marginalised communities, leading to improvement in their lives and livelihoods.

To aware,educate and trained up in a view to sustainable development of the micro and macro level as Human Resource Development and to promote Women's Empowerment and gender sensitivity.

To organise the people from different classes who will act collectively or individually for his own development with his village and to equip the villagers in real education to fight against ignorance and deprivation.
